(The monthly calculations assume Monday and Friday attendance which include a deduction for regular Bank holidays)
Fees are payable monthly in advance. We calculate monthly fees as follows: we take your weekly fee, multiply it by 51 (the nursery is closed for a week at Christmas) and also deduct the cost of any regular Monday or Friday bank holidays your child attends. This yearly total is then divided by 12.
All children are entitled to 15 free hours a week in the term after their third birthday. The nursery will apply for this on your behalf. Children from the age of 9 months of working parents may be eligible for 30 funded hours. To check your eligibility click on the link below
If you’re child is taking up only funded hours there will be no charge for nursery attendance. We will provide all necessary items, eg, nappies, wipes, formula milk (to 12 months).
We serve breakfast, lunch and tea at nursery and you are free to choose if you would like your child to have meals. There is a charge for meals which will be paid for weekly in advance. If you decide not to pay for meals and your child will be in nursery at meal times you must provide a packed lunch and/or tea (as appropriate). Meals provided by you must be equal to the nutritional standards of meals provided by us and we will inform you if you are providing unacceptable items.
f your child attends for more than the funded hours, ie, "wraparound care" the document below demonstrates hour your funding is applied.
Many nurseries ask you to bring in nappies and formula milk. At Grove Park Pre-School we include the cost of these in our fees so you have one less thing to worry about!
Also included are freshly cooked meals. We're very proud of our healthy eating programme - all the children's meals are prepared in our own kitchen by our cook from the freshest ingredients. The children are offered fresh fruit and vegetables with their lunch and tea and many of our parents are suprised at their children's developing tastes for such things as raw peppers and carrots!
