We are fortunate to have three separate rooms for age groups 3 to 18 months, 18 to 24 months, and 2 to 3 years.

In each of these rooms we are fostering independence, active play and exploration through core provision (activities available to children throughout their session, self-chosen and easily accessible) such as small world play, sand and water play, construction and books and stories.  We will also provide a focused activity in the morning and afternoon planned to build on and extend children's learning which may take place inside or outdoors.  2 to 3 year olds are also learning to tidy up,  take responsibility for their environment and toilet train.

When babies and toddler come to nursery this is what they do:

8 to 9                Breakfast

9 to 10.30         Core activities and a focused activity

10.30-11.30      Garden time

1.30-12.15        Lunch

12.30-2.00        Quiet time and nap time

2 to 3                Core activities and focused activity

3 to 4                Garden time

4 to 4.30           Tea-time

4.30 to 6           Core activities
